These are the tools and technologies that repeatedly earn their place in client work - web applications, mobile apps for Android and iOS, and desktop software for Windows, Linux, and macOS. TypeScript and Vue on the frontend, PHP with Laravel or Slim closer to the API, relational data in MySQL or PostgreSQL, and cloud and containers when the software has to leave a laptop and run a business. Jira supports project planning and delivery tracking. Familiarity is intentional - a future engineer should be able to understand and extend the system without chasing last year’s novelty.
